Writer, book critic and history buff, Paul-François Sylvestre has published eight novels, three collections of short stories, two poetry books, one children’s book, some twenty essays on French Ontario and ten books on homosexuality. He has taught Franco-Ontarian literature at York University’s Glendon College and has offered a course on the History of French Ontario at Collège Boréal. Paul-François received various honours or prizes: Prix du Nouvel-Ontario (1994), Prix Jean-Baptiste-Rousseau (2006), Order of Ontario (2008). His most recent publications include L’Ontario français au jour le jour (2005), Toronto s’écrit: la Ville Reine dans notre littérature (2007), Cent ans de leadership franco-ontarien (2010), Frousse à Santo Domingo (2011), and Toronto et sa toponymie française (2012).
